Recently I went a few weeks in Hong Kong, and because I hadn’t done a video in a while, I wanted to get back into it. So I decided to shoot a few basic timelapses and combined those into a short 2 minute video clip.
The locations include Victoria Peak (Lugard Road section), Temple Street Market and some other iconic hills as well as a few rooftops.
I’m reasonably happy how it worked out considering the limited shooting time, however, I’ve come to a conclusion that in order to do a really good timelapse movie, one needs to spend more time shooting. Doing a quick one is not really worth it – Sometimes you need more than one take at a location, especially for day-to-night. My next work will definitely be better.
